Elijah Alvarado, aka Spirit Bangs, is a multi-talented creative mastermind. A big part of his career has been occupied by his love for film directing. Alongside his short films, such as 2020’s “Light Pollution,” Elijah has also directed music videos for artists like Chance the Rapper, Good Charlotte, GRiZ, Alex Wiley, and Kids These Days.
Just as the pandemic affected many of us, it also helped Elijah to shift his focus. Having more time away from film directing, he rediscovered his love for music making. Under the name Spirit Bangs, he released a wide range of music in 2020.
Today he is releasing his first EP of 2021, “fruit n veg,” with the hope of connecting with people on a deeper level. Like many of us, he understands the ability for music to uplift and bring people together.
As this EP is an introduction into the world of Spirit Bangs, he hopes to continue releasing music, evolving and growing along the way.
